Mayak Eggs

Honestly, I have different types of breakfasts every day and it all depends on what I feel like having. Today’s mayak eggs and rice! Mayak eggs are Korean marinated eggs and they are super easy to make and very delicious too!

Ingredients:

- 6 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vinegar

- 2 red chilli (I used bird’s eye chilli because I like all things spicy)
- 2-4 spring onions
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup of water
-1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 sugar or honey
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

1. In a pot add enough water to boil 6 eggs, and proceed to add the salt and vinegar. Boil the eggs for 6 minutes and transfer it to a bowl of cold water for easy peeling.
2. Combine the rest of the ingredients in container.
3. Once the eggs are boiled and peeled, place the eggs in the container and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, preferably so the eggs will be well marinated.
4. Serve over rice or noodles!
